Step 1: Create a Polymarket Account

Go to polymarket.com
Click "Sign In" → Connect with your preferred wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, etc.)
Complete any verification if required

Step 2: Fund Your Wallet with USDC.e

Polymarket uses USDC.e (bridged USDC) on Polygon
Easiest: Use Polymarket's built-in deposit (card/bank) - auto-converts to USDC.e
Or bridge USDC from Ethereum → Polygon (becomes USDC.e)
Contract: 0x2791Bca1f2de4661ED88A30C99A7a9449Aa84174
Recommended starting amount: $50-200 for testing

⚠️ Must be USDC.e on Polygon - regular USDC or other chains won't work!

Step 3: Get Your API Credentials

Go to polymarket.com/settings?tab=builder
Click "Create API Key"
Copy your API Key, Secret, and Passphrase
Paste them in the "Wallet Credentials" section below

Step 4: Export Your Private Key

From MetaMask:

Click the 3 dots → Account details
Click "Show private key"
Enter your password and copy the key

From Phantom:

Export Private Key
